“Deliver what we promise for our people and clients” Based in East London, E10 UP to £70K Package About Company: With a clear vision to deliver what they promise for their people and clients, being one of the country’s largest utility joint ventures consisting of two leading UK contractors, they have formed to tackle a contract awarded by Thames Water for the AMP6 period in 2015 valued at £500 Million. Works are now in preparation for the AMP7 period as it’s about to start with possibilities for works to continue beyond that also. They have an opportunity for a Senior Contracts Manager for their Major Project side of the business, a Contracts Manager who is capable of working with particularly large clients. About Role: As the Senior Contracts Manager you will see yourself managing a number of different teams and groups in order to ensure the contracts are being delivered within time and budgets set. The Senior Contracts Manager will also be responsible for negotiating with sub-contractors and site visits Someone who has a proven track record of dealing with clients successfully would be perfect for this role as it essentially involves Client facing. The ideal Senior Contracts Manager: - Strong background in Operational or Contracts Management - NEC Contract Knowledge - Utilities experience (Water (Preferably), Gas or Power/ Energy) - Experience in managing large teams and handling large clients COULD THIS BE YOU?
