The role: - Cover all aspects of Sales Order Processing, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service and Ad Hoc Support for the Senior Management Team - Managing day to day retail enquiries and requests by phone and email in a timely and satisfactory manner - Inputting orders on order processing and stock management systems - Organising and booking deliveries to retailers' warehouses and customer homes by liaising with the warehouse manager or customer, and their logistics and warehousing teams - Organising and managing the paperwork relating to deliveries and returns - Organising any accommodation or travel required by the logistics team to enable customer deliveries - Managing paperwork relating to container deliveries, reviewing planned shipping schedules from China and proactively warning senior team members of possible stock shortages; keeping system data up to date and accurate - Maintaining and updating customer databases - Ensuring the retail product on their website is up to date - Providing images, samples and catalogues to customers as required - Working closely with members of the senior team to ensure the smooth running of the business from an operational perspective You will be - Someone with excellent writing skills - A competent user of Microsoft Office and excel - Proactive, flexible and reliable with a willingness to learn; someone who isn't afraid to ask questions or ask for help - Able to prioritise competing demands and stay on top of an ever-changing workload due to excellent organisational skills and sound judgment, completing tasks to required timescales - Someone who understands the importance of maintaining accurate information in a multi-user company management system - Someone who can demonstrate good judgement in knowing when to escalate issues to the senior team - A confident individual who is able to quickly build good relationships with customers and deliver prompt and efficient answers to their enquiries - Someone with a keen eye for detail, who hunts out mistakes or errors to ensure all information given to customers is accurate - Happy taking and making calls, as well as communicating by email Hours of work 37.5 hours a week, 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday (one hour lunch) 4 x Saturdays a year for the Warehouse Sale
