Overview
This highly successful, multi award-winning Private Bank has experienced consistent and rapid growth for years now. After a restructure of their finance function to optimize their performance they’re hiring for a new role. The company boasts a slick environment and very social culture, built on teams of high calibre people. The successful individual will be joining the financial controls function. They will primarily focus on Statutory Accounts, Balance Sheet reviews, VAT and Corporation Tax, but will have roughly 30% business partnering responsibilities. It will ideally suit someone who has qualified either this year or last who has a proactive attitude and is generally a “people person”. Responsibilities Monthly, Quarterly and Anual finacial reporting and control Support the manager in lots of ad-hoc reporting requirements Preparation of annual audited accounts Monthly Balance Sheet review and reporting on internal finance KPIs such as aged debtors and creditors Reconciliation of control accounts Preparation and filing of VAT returns Ensure controls within the Finance team are adhered to Maintaining, interpreting and reporting of timely and accurate financial data Partnering business unit heads to ensure effective cost control of their functions Ad-hoc project work as required About you Qualified accountant – up to one years post-qualified experience MUST have experince in Financial Services Demonstrably proficient with accounting systems and excel Proactive individual who thinks beyond the task and understands the bigger picture Strong attention to detail Works efficiently and communicates in a professional manner Responds quickly to changing work demands If you’ve recently qualified and like the idea of joining a growing and successful investment business in central London, then this could be the opportunity for you.
