DBA | PostgreSQL, SQL, AWS | £48,000 - £56,000 Are you an experienced DBA looking to expand your skillset into the cloud. Do you have strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge? If so, this could be the role for you. This consultancy has built an enviable reputation as a leading provider of data and cloud solutions to the public sector. The work is flooding in and they are subsequently looking to expand their experienced team in Croydon. Working on a large Government project, you will be managing their on-premises PostgreSQL database. Working in a close knit team, you 'll have at least 5 years' experience in a Senior DBA role. Your day to day responsibilities will include: Maintaining and monitoring the database platforms Performance tuning, indexing, partitioning and load balancing. Deployment via CI/CD automation and configuration management Database modelling and data architectures You will need to be eligible for security clearance. As such you will need to have been in the UK for the at least 5 years, with no gaps longer than 6 months. They are big on learning and personal development and will always look to build on your existing knowledge and skills. Any previous experience with AWS (Redshift, Aurora, RDS, Dynamo DB) will be a big bonus but is not essential.
