Overview
We are currently working with central London local authority who are seeking an interim Project Manager to support with their new build development programme for a 3-6 month period. With responsibility the management of 3-4 schemes at various stages of the development lifecycle, we are looking for an experienced PM with good technical knowledge combined with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Managing the delivery of a new build affordable housing scheme which is already on site, in addition to bringing forward a pipeline scheme and procuring a contractor for a further site which already has planning consent, this is an interesting and varied role which would suit somebody who has worked for a local authority or housing association, and understands the nuances of delivering housing projects in these environments. The successful applicant to this interim Project Manager role will possess the following: Good technical background and knowledge of new build housing delivery Solid understanding (ideally first hand) of the housing development process within a local authority or housing association environment Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders including Members, Counsellors, residents and Contractors This role is for immediate start for a 3-6 month period, and we are seeking applications from candidates who are happy to work INSIDE IR35 legislation.
