You will become part of a dynamic and effective agile team that support solutions and services which provide efficient and innovative solutions to on-boarding customers and enable the financial resilience of our clients and their families. Key Accountabilities Develops complex solutions within own area of technical expertise. Carries out impact assessment of complex changes to existing applications. Documents and agrees design in advance and to agreed standards. All code meets Group standards, guidelines and quality gates for given technology. All code is thoroughly tested to ensure any issues are identified as early as possible, working closely with the test team. Contributes to software development practice by sharing ideas and experience. Conducting peer code reviews to ensure best practice Active participant in agile team ceremonies demonstrating willingness to learn and adapt Providing feedback on others and ability to improve your own ways of working Skills and Experience Demonstrable experience of ability to work with different coding languages, and keep up to date with innovations in these Experience of the following tools and technologies are essential: .Net/C# Experience of modern continuous integration tooling (TFS, Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins) Essential Criteria Experience of the following tools and technologies are essential: .Net/C# Excellent problem solving and decision making skills Excellent communication skills with both a technical and non-technical audience A sound understanding of service-oriented and event-driven web architectures (RESTful web services, JSON, XML) A flexible ‘can do' attitude.
