Senior MEP Engineer/Building Services Manager - Top Tier Main Contractor - Brighton They are seeking a Senior MEP Engineer/Building Services Manager for a project based in Brighton. Accountabilities and Key tasks: Ensure that the MEP designs and details are economic, and in conformance with the specified requirements for quality. Monitor, coordinate and control of the flow of MEP design information to ensure timely release of information for procurement and construction activities. Review and monitor sub-contractors Method / Risk / Health and Safety statements. Respond to sub-contractor/consultant RFI schedules. Attend weekly meetings with MEP Contractors, to review onsite activity and schedule forthcoming activities. Quality checks of the MEP installation, instigating Inspection & Test Plans and Work Inspection Records. Coordination of the testing and commissioning - Programme and processes. Coordination of all Statutory Services Providers, Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecoms. Essential & Desirable Criteria: Essential: Understanding of all relevant M&E and services legislation. Mechanical or Electrical Qualification Commercial acumen Proficient use of and Microsoft suite of office programmes. Experience in a variety of M&E projects in a wide range of sectors. Controlling costs, timing and quality in line with targets. Appropriate CSCS card. First Aid at Works certificate.
