Overview
COVER SUPERVISOR A Good Secondary School based in Camden, is looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and passionate Cover Supervisors to join their team. THE ROLE: This good school are currently looking to recruit a pool of local Cover Supervisors who is keen to gain experience within a school setting prior to completing a teaching qualification. Prior experience of working in this and/or a similar role would be beneficial due to the nature of responsibility. The role of Cover Supervisor would require you to manage and supervise groups of students in the internal exclusion unit ensuring that high quality learning continues outside of the classroom. There will also be times where you would be required to cover classes in times of staff absence. They are looking to build a pool of Cover Supervisors who are available who are available for short and long term cover. Experience required: Experience of working with children within a school setting (Ideally secondary) Strong classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour as and when needed Ability to build a rapport with children, staff and parents Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent (Please note this is desired but not essential).
