Legal 500 practice in Bedfordshire seeks an energetic Employment Lawyer with 4 years’ PQE. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Employment Lawyer to join our client’s Lexcel accredited firm in Luton. Providing corporate support to the team, the successful candidate will mainly handle a busy caseload of employment matters. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Responsibilities • Complex employment matters • Redundancy • Reorganisation • Settlement agreements • Unfair dismissal • Tribunal matters • Discrimination • TUPE • Breach of contract • Assistance with corporate matters when required • Business development and networking • Assisting team with workshops and seminars The Candidate • Solicitors and legal executives with at least 4 years’ PQE • Solid experience in contentious and non-contentious employment matters • Previous employment-related corporate support experience is essential • Has a strong financial track record • Proven excellent academic record – at least 2:1 degree • Has a commercial acumen • Outstanding communication skills • Previous experience of networking, marketing, public speaking is highly advantageous • Has a flair for self-development The Firm A well-established, Legal 500 firm with multiple accreditations including the Lexcel and CQS, our client provides first-class legal services to both businesses and individuals locally and further afield.
