Do you have experience supporting children who have SEN? Have you recently completed first Aid and Manuel Handling training? If you answered yes to the above, then this Support worker role is for you The Role - Support worker I am recruiting for a Support worker to support children in KS3 and KS4 who have ASD, SLD, PMLD SEMH and Complex Needs. As a Support worker your duties will include personal care, manual handling, working 1-1 and in small groups, the use of MAKATON and PECS will be ideal as some students are non-verbal. The School - Support worker This SEN school is located in Haringey they provide education to 112 students between the ages of 5 - 16 who have SEN. They offer a high standard of education to students and will go above and beyond for all members of staff you will be working as part of an experienced team with a SL team who provide amazing training programmes for all members of staff to pursue a successful career within education.
