Then we may have the role for you… Role: Project Manager Location: Littlehampton Contract type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: Up to £60,000 Randstad Contact: Kieran Logan The Company The client is a modular build construction company based out of Littlehampton. They specialise in highly-engineered light gauge steel modular building systems offsite. The company provide a number of solutions across a range of sectors including; Hotels, Residential Housing, Student Accommodation and commercial buildings. The Project We are recruiting for a Project Manager to manage the build and installation of these modular units. There are two new projects starting east of Hampshire, this is two £7million student accommodation projects. We are looking for someone to spend some of the time in the factory ensuring the build is being completed to the correct standard and efficiently, while spending the remainder of your time working on site ensuring the packages are installed correctly. The Role As the Project Manager you will be heading up a site team from enabling works stage through to completion. You will be the key driver of the project ensuring it is delivered safely, to budget and on time. You role will involve: Creating project programmes with the Contracts Manager. Working with the client throughout the development of the scheme. Providing input to the subcontractor selection. Managing all project subcontractors. Managing and mentoring the site team,. Health & Safety planning and implantation. Charing progress meetings Providing input into design, making changes/recommendations where required. Ensuring required milestones are achieved. Client liaison About You Candidates will require relevant role and project experience. Good eye for detail. Be able to interpret construction drawings and designs. Strong man-management skills. Excellent organisation skills. Good level of IT literacy.
