Overview

Domus have a fantastic opportunity for a Supported Living Manager to join a leading Health and Social Care Charity, with more than 300 locations across England. This is an exciting opportunity to really make a difference to the quality of the support they provide. In this vital role, you will be expected to manage their portfolio of supported living provisions in Worcester and Kidderminster. These services provide support to adults with a learning disability and/or profound complex needs. They are looking for an individual with proven leadership skills who has managed large teams and fast-paced services before. This organisation run all of their services on a not-for-profit basis; instead, they invest every penny back into their services and people. This role would be ideal for a forward thinking manager who is always open to new ways of working and is used to working in a fast paced environment. They are paying £29,000 for the successful candidate. Role Responsibility Ensuring the delivery of consistently high quality services – all within a challenging but rewarding environment. Maintain and develop standards as part of their supported living services for adults with learning disabilities. As an inspirational manager you know how important it really is to lead, coach and guide staff to ensure their ambition for people supported is at the forefront of all you do. Model what they expect to see in everyday support. You must have a full driving license due to the multi-site nature of the role. The Ideal Candidate The role requires the post holder to register with CQC so knowledge and experience of the regulations and requirements of the Care Quality Commission is essential. Experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or complex needs. Will be a driver due to the multi-site location of the service. Experience of working in a supported living environment would also be advantageous. Candidates from a residential background will also be considered. What benefits will I receive?
