THE COMPANY A fast-paced, analytical company who have made themselves one of the largest credit card providers in the UK. From building out their offering of products to utilising open source technologies such as R and Python, this company are showing no signs of slowing growth. The fraud team here sits as one of the most exciting across the market. They are currently working on developing their own systems, restructuring the architecture for customer acquisition, and optimising data warehouses, all with the aim of ensuring they are continually analysing and servicing customers better. THE ROLE This role is to lead on all aspects of fraud within your business sub area, involving data analytics, modelling, stress testing and strategy development. Key responsibilities: Conduct in depth analytics of large and complex datasets using SAS, R and Python Apply creativity to problem solving alongside implementing techniques such as decision trees, regression, time series, gradient boosting Maintenance of on-target fraud losses Work on development of several proof of concepts throughout the business Manage senior internal and external relationships with the ability to translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders Transform holistic business views into actionable analytics and development in application fraud, and vice-versa YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES Prior application of SAS, R or Python within data analytics Experience building statistical models Passion for Machine Learning, AI and Big Data Confident, organised and strong business acumen Proven strategic development with a clear ROI mindset Educated to degree level in a STEM discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, etc. Experience with Hunter is preferential THE BENEFITS Up to £90,000 Competitive bonus Flexible benefits package Fun working environment HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV to Rosalind Madge via the Apply link on this page.
