Learning Support Worker

We Care Recruitment are working closely with a service based in Consett and are looking for a core team of support workers who are interested in working with adults aged 16 with a variety of learning difficulties and complex behaviours. This service runs two separate branches, one Social and one Education. The Social side provides social activities and social inclusion. They are involved with a lot of local community services and put a lot of effort into making their services as stimulating and enjoyable as possible. Shifts run Monday to Friday and will either fall between 0830-1600 and 0900-1500. The Education side providing training and learning for those who have extra support needs and anyone with Learning Support Assistance experience would be suitable to cover shifts on this side. They provide NVQ entry level education in a variety of subjects for learners with additional support needs. Shifts run between 0900-1500 Monday to Friday.
