Overview
Looking to join a well established agency for temporary ad-hoc work? Can you commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week? BS Social Care are currently recruiting for Temporary Ad-hoc Adult Support Workers for our clients around the Keighley area. No two days are the same, working as a Support Worker you will be required to support adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health issues with everyday tasks, from shopping to cooking and cleaning. You will be helping them live a fulfilling life, maintaining friendship and day to day activities. To be considered, you will require the following: - 6 months paid & relevant experience - Enhanced DBS on the update service (don't worry too much if you don't have one, you can obtain one through Brook Street Disclosures for a fee of £46) - Ability to provide a minimum of 2 years references It is desirable you hold a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle. It would also be an advantage to hold certificates in Manual Handling & Personal Care (we do offer training during different parts of the year should you not have this) The rate of pay will vary from client to client, but will range from £8.50 to £9.50 per hour with holiday pay to accrue.
