Overview

Position Overview Responsible for receiving works and updating the information management system. This role is based in our new office near Birmingham International airport and a 5 minute walk from the train station. Responsibilities Ensure all telephone calls from customer contacts are dealt with in an efficient and competent manner. Following a set process, question the customer to identify the problem and priority. Identify problem and take appropriate action, taking consideration of priority and impact on end user. Ensure compliance with DE and PriDE policies on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environment and highlight potential requirements in the IMS. Follow-up status of high priority works-in-progress and ensure the customer contact is fully informed. Ensure that the IMS is fully maintained and updated at all stages. Produce standard reports as requested. Ensure that records are updated and filed appropriately. Undertake general administrative duties as required. Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in. Knowledge , Skills and Experience Excellent telephony skills. Accurate keyboard skills. Understanding of information management systems/databases. Capable of working under pressure with minimum supervision. Able to undertake shift working. Customer awareness. Excellent communicator.
