Overview
Care Assistant (Nights) based at Horfield Lodge, Bristol Available Hours: Permanent - Full Time - 44 hours per week (nights). Commutable from Bishopston, Ashley Down and surrounding areas. The role requires individuals who: are flexible in their approach and sensitive to the needs of residents enjoy the company of older people have a willingness to learn and develop work well as part of a team have the ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues You will be responsible for supporting older people to live their daily lives to the full, assisting with their physical and personal needs to enhance each individual's well-being. MHA's 73 place purpose-built care home on Kellaway Avenue in Bristol is named to reflect the history of the area. It recalls a large house of the same name that was on the site in 1881. As well as 29 places for dementia specialist care and 25 for nursing care, the home also offers 19 care suites - one and two bedroom apartments available for individuals or couples, all with 24-hour support. There is a diverse range of activities available for those who wish to participate, including talks, demonstrations, musical events and outings, and each individual resident's hobbies and interests are catered for.
