Staff Nurse RGN/RMN- £17.00 ph - Bodmin Role: Staff Nurse RGN/RMN Location: Near Bodmin Wage: £17ph Contact: Charlotte Patterson Amber Mace is currently recruiting for 2 Staff Nurses - RGN and RMN (or RNLD with general nursing experience) - to work within an elderly nursing home near Bodmin. The home is an excellent facility, dedicated to providing the highest standards of nursing and residential care for the elderly, some of whom are living with dementia. As staff nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents. Duties for Staff Nurse Include: • Providing a high standard of care to residents • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress • Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care Skills/ Qualifications required of the Staff Nurse: • Hold a current Nurse pin • Experience in elderly/dementia care • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards. • A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice • Ability to work to own initiative Salary & Package • Hourly rate of £16.50 - £17 p/h depending on experience • Free Uniform • Free DBS check • Free Meals during 12 hour shifts • Paid Breaks • Pension scheme For more information regarding this opportunity or to apply please contact Charlotte at Amber Mace on 01904 571187 or email an up to date CV to charlotteambermace.com RGN or RMN Qualified
