Staff Nurse (DAYS) - Launceston Location: Launceston Wage: £16.50ph dependent on experience Company: Amber Mace Contact Name: Charlotte Patterson Are you ready for the next step in your health and social care career? I am currently working with a fantastic nursing home owned by one of the leading care providers in the area that provides excellent career opportunities and progression, and we need someone like you to join the team The home provides nursing care for the elderly, some of whom are living with dementia. They provide a wide range of facilities to help improve the resident`s quality of life. Duties for Staff Nurse Include: • Providing a high standard of care to residents • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress • Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care Skills/ Qualifications required of the Staff Nurse: • Hold a current Nurse pin • Experienced in elderly/dementia care desired but not essential As Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents. In return for your hard work my client will offer a competitive salary of up to £16.88ph. Please note: There are both full & part time vacancies available and a choice to work either day or nights shifts or a mixture of both.
