This key role carries responsibility for the origination and maintenance of the full set of customer, dealer and maintenance engineering documentation embodying all salient operating and maintenance detail in precise, accessible language and formats covering print, electronic and web-based technologies. This includes manuals, accessory fitting instructions, workshop and maintenance manuals, product stickers, wiring diagrams, technical specifications and technical content for the website and brochures. You will work alongside the company’s marketing and engineering functions with parallel access to the company’s design and manufacturing files in order to provide the basic material for the preparation of full consumer documentation. Candidates will need to demonstrate high levels of applied engineering ability coupled with clear literacy and qualifications to graduate level. You will also be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience working with technical complex manufactured products and be skilled with Solidworks, Composer and Auto Cad. As well as the Technical Author work you will also assist with projects by Design, Draughting and BOM creation and management using MRP Software, at all times adhering to BSI and internal procedures. The role will have a strong pipeline of new product introductions together with all associated updates, revisions and territory/language versions which will provide ongoing challenge and job interest in the long-term for the successful candidate.
