Application Support Analyst, SQL, VB Scripts, London This job opportunity is for a top concierge firm based in Westminster who offer 6 service to VIP customers covering properties, technology, cleaning and chauffeuring services. In this role, you will deliver support to end users in the company with various types of software programs efficiently and effectively. This includes troubleshooting applications and software, and report writing for all internal customers. You will also be responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of internal software applications training programs and related courseware. In this role you will: · Create and deploy feedback mechanisms for end users. Analyze results, make recommendations for support process improvement, and implement changes. · Evaluate documented resolutions and analyse trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems. · Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase. · Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems. · Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders. · Identify, create and implement management reports for all business units within the organization from the database applications and data captured. · Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. · Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes. Skills required: · Solid knowledge of desktop applications, MS SQL, SQL Reporting, SQL Analytics Services. · Must have experience with Resourcelink · Knowledge of troubleshooting, methodologies and resolution techniques. · Broad knowledge of programming SQL VB Scripts and C# · Experience with building and maintaining databases · Understanding of business processes, internal applications used by the company and clients. · Strong customer service orientation · Good problem solving skills If you are interested in this role or know anyone who may be, please contact Nneka Nwosu on 02033309586.
