Overview
Title: Commercial/Procurement Lawyer Duration: 12 Months Location: SW1P 4DF Experience in contract law, procurement, IT law. Main duties and responsibilities include: Contentious - Litigation: working as part of a team on high value contract disputes. Non-Contentious working in procurement law, for example framework agreements and contracts. Successful management of complex high value cases. Ability to deal with complex public law cases. Ability to work to deadlines. Provide legal and policy advice to clients. Responsibility for contractual litigation and disputes. Responsibility of procurement law cases. Takes responsibility for own work with substantial degree of autonomy but knowing when to consult and to delegate. Displays an understanding of the resourcing requirements of own cases. Displays an understanding of the context the client operates in. Displays the professional attitude that client and company expect from a member of an organisation with a high reputation. Responds to reasonable client requests including agreeing achievable and realistic actions, timescales etc. Keeps abreast of legal developments and current thinking on related policy issues.
