Overview
A London Insurance Company is seeking a to recruit an Underwriting Assistant to join their Marine/Aviation Team. The main purpose of the role will be to provide a dedicated administrative support service to the underwriters, which will involve data entry, document management, contract certainty checking and assisting with broker enquiries. This will be an ideal role for an individual who has gained previous administrative experience with a Lloyds Broker, Underwriter or Insurance Services Company who is looking gain a better understanding of the underwriting process with daily interaction with underwriters. Preference will be given to individuals who have gained some progression to ACII qualifications and have a knowledge of Marine/Aviation Business. Knowledge of the Genius Underwriting system would be an advantage.
