Senior Finance Analyst (Commercial) Luton, Bedfordshire £45,000 - £55,000 car benefits The role Our client, an instantly recognisable leading brand based in Luton, is looking for an experienced, proven Finance Analyst to work closely alongside the Commercial Finance team in order to support the performance of the key sales channels. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager and the sales team to contribute to the strategic development of the business, with a particular focus on increasing profits where possible and maintaining the market share within the UK. Key responsibilities Provide financial support/analysis and be the contact point of contact for the relevant commercial teams To review and analyse all commercial matters Co-ordinate and perform individual profitability and pricing analysis by customer to ensure financial optimisation Approval of relevant sales proposals Submission and liaison with Head Office with regards to appropriate sales deals Prepare ad hoc analysis and support budget preparation for relevant departments Develop and manage KPIs for responsible channels and drive business performance Manage the month end Accounting process including reconciliations Ensure all accounting is in line with local fiscal requirements and company policies and assure timely month-end closing results Participation in any internal audit related activities The ideal candidate Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) Commercial Finance or Management Accounting experience Highly numerate, analytical skills and high standard of accuracy Broad knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow Strong communication and influencing skills Effective presentation skills Advanced Microsoft Excel Comfort and confidence around senior management Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects alongside regular deadlines Proactive and able to work on own initiative Continuous improvement mentality SAP knowledge beneficial If you would like more information, or would like to be considered for the role, please apply AGY - Vitae Financial Recruitment We Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
