In Rackheath we are looking to recruit an individual who is sociable and loves to be busy. This is a friendly and busy bungalow that supports 4 men aged 45-60. The gentlemen that live here have a busy social life and a number of hobbies & interests such as; bowling, going to the pub, clubs on Mondays where they can meet up with friends and supporting Norwich or Ipswich football clubs. In the summer they enjoy parties and BBQs in their garden with friends. The person we are looking for would need to have a good sense of humour and an empathetic understanding of the people we support. It is important that you can support with personal care, finances and medication. The people we support can communicate, but you will need to be patient for those that take longer to express their needs. You need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you and be able to work flexibly, as shifts are between 7am-10pm including rota'd sleep ins and weekends. You must also have a valid UK driving licence.
