Care Assistant Hazlemere Lodge - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Salary: £8.41/hr rising to £8.71/hr after probation period Hours: Part time/Full time/ Days and Night hours are available Hazlemere Lodge is a purpose-built care home for 64 older people which consists of 32 nursing, 16 dementia beds and 16 residential. We also have 12 extra care flats which are independently staffed to the main Home and we are now looking for new Care Assistants to join our team. The home has large, beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities and equipped with the latest technology. Hazlemere Lodge offers personalised care tailored to an individual’s specific needs. Care and support can be stepped up or down as required. Our ideal Care Assistant candidate will have: Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community. An awareness and understanding of high quality home care. Good communication skills, patience and flexibility. An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support. A flexible working pattern and able to do shift work. Alternate weekend working pattern. Experience is desirable, however, is not essential, as we offer full training for all of our Care Staff. In return for your hard work, we offer our Care Assistants: 22 days paid holiday per annum bank holidays (pro rata) Raising to 28 days bank holidays Ongoing training and progression opportunities Thorough induction and regular support from all management and staff Flexible working hours The option to work towards qualifications in NVQ Health & Social Care level 2&3 Salary: £16,663.00 to £17,257.00 /year Experience: supporting adults in a care setting or in the community: 1 year (Preferred) Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (Preferred) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89934730
