Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Salary/Rate: £60-75k Location: London (Zone 1) Type: Permanent Industry: Software Job Reference: A000432 Senior DevOps Engineer Position Overview: Our long standing software client are actively seeking a Senior DevOps (Cloud) Engineer, despite these unsettling times. Working as one of two Senior DevOps Engineers within the business, you will have great responsibility and autonomy within this role which will require you to collectively design, build and maintain the company’s AWS infrastructure that hosts it’s award winning Software used the world over Senior DevOps Engineer Position Requirements: Have great knowledge and experience of designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure/s and Cloud environments. Have scripting experience using either Bash, Perl, Ruby and/or Shell. Be able to work off your own initiative, coming up with your own ideas and be able to self-research any queries/questions. Have great attention to detail and passion for quality first time. Have commercial experience of using Kubernetes and Docker. Be commercially astute with a customer centric mindset. Have experience of working with Git, Jenkins, Jira and/or Bamboo Come from a development background, able to automate infrastructure through code using Cloudformation, Ansible and/or Terraform. Be a natural problem solver with a great mind for analytics. Possess the mindset of how the infrastructure and software delivers on international scale. Have a want to work in a collaborative and cohesive work environment. Have experience of working in a Java based environment, and ideally Microservices. Senior DevOps Engineer Position Remuneration: Basic salary ranging between £60-75k Annual bonus of 10% Generous secondary benefits package.
