Overview

Reporting into the Design Director you will lead a Design Team on Infrastructure projects spanning Rail, Aviation and the Highways sectors. You will have heavy involvement in pre-construction phases of projects whilst assembling the Design Team to deliver the schemes in line with the Design Programme. Client Details My client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor and are a market leader in the infrastructure sector. They are a global business and have a strong pipeline of existing and new projects coming through across London and the South East. Description Leading a team of Design Managers, you will be tasked with setting the Design Programme and ensuring adherence throughout. You will be tasked with appointing the consultant team and ensuring management and compliance throughout the project. Providing expertise on Design, you will form part of the bid's team to secure a steady pipeline of future projects. You will develop a deliverable design and continue to explore opportunities for value engineering. Working closely with the commercial team you will outline the scope of works for tender packages. Profile Previous experience with another Main Contractor on UK Infrastructure projects. Degree educated and ideally a background in Engineering although Architectural background's are also of interest. Experience managing a Design team from pre-construction through to completion. Experience in utilising BIM is desirable with knowledge of current building regulations being essential. Job Offer Basic Salary of £75,000 - £95,000 depending on experience.
