Overview
A national firm based in the North West is looking for a Paralegal to join its casualty fraud team in Manchester for a full-time, permanent role. Your new firm The Casualty Fraud Paralegal will be joining a leading firm in the insurance sector that won a number of high profile awards last year. Due to an increasing number of instructions, a permanent Paralegal is needed to join the dedicated Casualty Fraud team in the Greater Manchester office. Your new role As a key member of the team, the Paralegal will be responsible for: Interviewing and taking statements Liaising with parties involved Instructing counsel, investigators and medical experts Conducting investigations and reviewing evidence, using a forensic and analytical approach What you'll need to succeed Your attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritise a workload will be crucial to success in this Casualty Fraud Paralegal role, as will: A suitable qualification (e.g. LLB, ILEX, LPC) Exposure to working in a legal environment Experience either assisting with or managing your own caseload A genuine interest in this area of law Good telephone and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills What you'll get in return In return for dedication and hard work, the Paralegal will be rewarded with: £16,000 - £21,000 per annum (dependent on your experience) Excellent training, support and progression prospects Very generous employee discounts and purchase schemes An exciting and fast-paced environment with modern tools and technology What you need to do now If you're interested in this Casualty Fraud Paralegal role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
