Overview
Robert Half are recruiting for a Japanese Speaking Analyst for a Wiltshire based client. We will also consider Finance Graduates if you have the language skills. Reporting initially to both the Finance Manager and Managing Director, tasks shall include : Responsibility for leading, directing and managing the budget, mid-term reviews and re-forecasts; including co-ordination with Japanese colleagues Driving improvements and ensuring that the reporting structures are working effectively and efficiently; monitoring cost centre expenditures on a monthly basis, including cost centre reviews Ensuring robust forecasts of future financial performance, based on predicted revenue and cost profiles Monitoring, reporting and forecasting the impact of external market variables (inflation, foreign exchange, economic growth) to ensure that risks are mitigated, and opportunities exploited wherever possible Management reporting The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience in finance, budgeting, cost control, and business planning roles Experience in, or good understanding of, long term contract accounting and project costing Demonstrated advanced Excel; VBA skills preferable and accounting systems Very strong IFRS 15 practical skills, applicable to a project (software) based business Qualified member of an accountancy body (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) Attention to detail with strong organisation skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver outputs in tight timescales Excellent communication skills, including Japanese language skills Ability to take complicated scenarios and make clear, simple, efficient, and consolidated Excel models Able to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrable ability to build consensus, and proven ability to work across a multi-site organisation to successfully achieve results Work closely with cost centre managers, whilst maintaining the independence of a Finance Professional Experience of business planning and consolidation software would be an advantage Ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial people Very good knowledge of Sage 50 Based in Wiltshire, we are open to Interim , Fixed Term or Permanent solutions, and this role is open to Gradudates. The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
