SENIOR BI DEVELOPER - REMOTE WORKING FINANCIAL SERVICES WOLVERHAMPTON- CURRENTLY FLEXIBLE/ REMOTE/ HOME WORKING £45,000-55,000 A well known Financial services company who have just been acquired by a larger customer product focused FS company with a larger portfolio and who are listed on the London Stock Exchange THE COMPANY The company are focused on customer-centric finance products and services and have grown steadily since starting 20 years ago. They gained interest from the larger parent company recently and have successfully merged which has led to the expansion of their BI team THE ROLE If you were to be successful in your application for this Senior BI Developer, your responsibilities would include: Lead the design and delivery of BI solutions into a business stream, working with Business Architects, programme leads and Project managers to shape and monitor the technical solution. Build a technical relationship with senior business users and provide them with technical advice and guidance on the ingestion and usage of data in their area Provide technical leadership in development and operation across the Microsoft SQL stack visualisation tools To deliver new, and changes to existing, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, data extraction and transform (ETL) for identified and agreed business requirements, providing accurate and timely data in support of key business metrics and enabling data led decision making SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE In order for your application for the Senior BI Analyst Developer role to be successful you will need; Strong coding ability in SQL (T-SQL) and an excellent knowledge of relational database environments Strong ETL experience with SSIS or a similar tool or indeed with the use of custom stored procedures An understanding of data migration including data reconciliation, data cleansing and cutover A strong understanding of the commercial value of data and platforming data for KPI reporting in a modern data visualisation tool HOW TO APPLY If you are interested in this Senior BI Developer role please apply via this site.
