Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively with a thriving, leading telecommunications business based in Rotherham who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic, forward-thinking finance team. This will be a true development role which will allow the successful individual to gain good exposure to a whole accounting function and month end in a dynamic and fast paced accounting environment. To be successful you must be able to manage competing demands for time and be able to work effectively as part of a team and be a keen and willing team player. Some duties include: - Reporting directly into Head of Finance - Responsible for month-end processes and management accounts - Journals, including accrual & prepayments - Variance Analysis - P&L Analysis with Commentary - Working with the wider business to understand needs and make finance at the core of decision making - Balance sheet reconciliations - Assistance with budgets and forecasting Requirements for this role: - Sage 200 experience, desirable but not essential - Strong Excel Skills (VLOOKUP's, Pivots etc.) - ACCA/CIMA Part - Qualified - Highly motivated individual who can use their own initiative to solve problems and contribute with value added insight The ideal candidate for this role will be studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
