SEPTEMBER 2020 - Behavioural Support Assistant required for Rotherham based SEN School Do you have experience of supporting pupils/small groups or in one to one capacity? CER Education are supporting an outstanding secondary school in the Rotherham area in their search for a highly motivated and encouraging Learning Support Assistant with experience of working with children with behavioural needs in a one to one role. You will be working as part of a team of support assistants, be familiar with de-escalation techniques ( TEAM TEACH etc.. ) and have recent school based experience supporting pupils with SEND needs. You will be calm, caring and patient and want to make a difference in pupils learning and life experiences. This role will start in September 2020 and will be on a full time basis. This school prides themselves on providing the highest quality education for all pupils and aim to ensure every child enjoys their time at the school. They have excellent standing in the community and staff are supported to flourish in the school environment. To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Learning Support or equivalent and transferable skills of working with adults or children that need emotional and behavioural support.
