Overview
My client are a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial process machinery for the food and wider FMCG sector. As part of their offering, they are able to develop, build and test interesting new concepts on site at the facility based in Bedfordshire, allowing them to remain at the forefront of innovation within their markets. This role sits firmly within the R&D department, providing mechanical and some basic electrical engineering support on a wide variety of factory based activities. It would suit an engineer with a broad understanding of the issues surrounding the design and development of new machinery and systems for the food industry, from concept through to completion. Strong mechanical skills aligned with good working knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems are a must, along with excellent problem solving and project engineering skills a real advantage. This client pays an excellent hourly rate, plus the chance to work overtime when available.
