Occupational Health Technician

We currently working with one of our clients who are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to join their team based in the West Midlands on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to travel throughout the UK & Midlands driving a Mobile Medical Unit to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services. The successful candidate must have the facility to park the unit near their home address overnight. Key Responsibilities: Undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing To undertake health screening procedures, including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis To ensure all medical information is accurately recorded in the occupational health records and passed to the relevant clinical staff To ensure all equipment is serviceable, clean and fit for purpose To undertake and support additional tasks as requested, such as health promotion activities Provide support to the whole occupational health team in helping the department to run smoothly and effectively, undertaking non-clinical tasks as requested e.g. filing/tidying etc Support the wider occupational health team in their duties and ensure that all information is accurately gathered and recorded Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
