Job Profile for Architectural Technician / Technologist - DW139796 Our client, a growing architectural company based close to Guildford are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to work on a variety of exciting residential projects including luxury homes. The most successful individual should have good technical ability and should be able to display a high-quality portfolio upon request. Due to the technical nature of the job, proficiency with AutoCAD will be key for the individual, as this software will be used daily. Daily tasks for the successful candidate include, producing highly detailed technical drawings for residential projects, conducting feasibility studies on site and completing various studies. Our client is happy to take on someone who has recently graduated / completed their college course in Architecture in order to train them. Building regulations knowledge would be advantageous to a candidate as most projects are within the residential sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing architectural company and work on a variety of exciting residential projects, ranging from luxury homes to smaller scale extension. Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic will be crucial to the successful Architectural Technician / Technologist. Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview Daily use of AutoCAD to produce high quality drawings Completing Feasibility studies, surveys and liaising with other professionals to develop a project brief Work on a variety of projects including multi-million pound luxury homes Liaise with external & internal stakeholders Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements Knowledge of UK buildings regulations advantageous Proficient with the use of AutoCAD software Excellent communication skills Live in or around the Guildford area Relevant qualification (Bsc/Ba or HNC/HND) Must be a team player Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration Salary of £20,000 - £35,000 Nice working environment Company social events Pension scheme Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
