SITE ENGINEER – CIVIL ENGINEERING – Altrincham Trant Engineering Limited is a multi discipline Engineering & Construction company, with offices and projects throughout the UK and Overseas. We have a number of different divisions, including; Energy, Oil & Gas, Process & Water, International and Control & Automation. We have over 800 employees and with a healthy forward order book and a projected turnover of £180m this year, it is an exciting time to join the business. We currently have an immediate requirement to recruit a Site Engineer to work on our National Grid civil engineering works at our Stalybridge and Frodsham sites. The base location for the roles will be Altrincham. Reporting into a Site Manager, duties include but are not limited to; •Setting out of civil engineering and building works on various sites •Promoting high levels of Health & Safety at all times, committing to continuous high standards •Surveying tasks •Ensuring quality control requirements are met •Reading and understanding drawings and specifications •Calculating quantities •Complying with company policies and procedures •Supervising/mentoring a Graduate Civil Engineer as and when required Qualifications/background: · Preferably with an HND/BEng in Civil Engineering · CSCS · Having a background of setting out Civil Engineering projects is essential · Petrochemical project experience advantageous but not essential Company Benefits; At Trant, we offer the opportunity for career development and progression within a professional working environment and we strongly support and encourage employees to gain professional qualifications.
