Javascript Engineer This is a green mission led start up that has 2 nd Round VC Funding, and a number of partnership deals with national retailers. It has proprietary product with a mix of software, hardware and embedded systems. You are obsessive, evangelical and laser focused on having a real impact on how people consume in this modern world, with a pragmatic, vs worthy, approach. Why we think you’ll want to join us: Universal Problem: You’ll be working on a pressing and current problem around how we use and consume technology. Currently under 10% of our mobile devices have a second life, we have a collective inertia around how we retire and reinvigorate devices Stimulating and Responsible Technology and Hardware: You’ll be developing cutting edge proprietary software, web apps, native apps that will interact with hardware, and electronic engineering that work in tandem to transform our users lives. We are looking for a self-motivated and highly skilled developer to join the team you will be involved in the full Software Development life cycle and work with the latest cutting-edge Technologies. You will be creating and developing bespoke Progressive Web Apps, Native Apps and be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications. You will have a passion for technology and a desire to develop your technical knowledge and experience along the way. Front End Developer Job Duties and Responsibilities: Designing and Developing Software applications. Creating and writing the best code possible as well as testing it and maintaining it. Work closely with back end developers who work mainly in Python Django, HTML developers for UI and UX/ UI and digital designers. You will have experience working within an Agile environment. You will be expected to contribute ideas to improve platforms. Front End Developer Expertise and Skills: Excellent Communication Skills and strong attention to detail. You will be a team player with the ability to exercise independent decision making hands on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, React.js, RESTFUL API's. Good knowledge of Frontend tools such as Gulp, NPM, SASS.
