Newly created role. Looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing HR department Your new company Hays are working alongside a large FMCG company based in Ashford to help them recruit for a new Payroll Manager. This is a newly created and develop role to the company, so we are looking for those with extensive Payroll knowledge and experience of leadership & Team work. You will be responsible for maintaining and processing the payroll for two UK sites using ADP's ihcm and Realtime, maintain 3rd party platforms i.e. pensions, life assurance and creating reports. Working hours - Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 Your new role Main responsibility - Process the monthly payroll for two UK sites including: Starters & Leavers Overtime payments Attachments of earnings PAYE monthly payments Pension maintenance and reporting Maintain data on the life assurance portal (Gladis) Maintain private healthcare deductions Fleet Management Payroll control account Payroll year end tasks P11D's Annual tax returns for foreign nationals on the UK payroll PAYE settlement agreements Payroll budget preparation Assist the HRD with annual salary review preparation Produce KPI data for both Group and UK management Liaise with the Financial Controller regarding reports and statutory requirements Ensure that at all times at least one member of the Finance/HR team is able to run the payroll in their absence (Emergency cover) Your role will also involve having great leadership and teamwork skills working with the HR department and the Finance Controller, this closely links in with communication. Innovation, Customer Care and Compliance all fall under your responsibility. What you'll need to succeed Skills & Experience we are looking for; Genuine interest in working in a small but busy HR team Up to date experience of managing and processing a payroll for approx. 200 people Previous experience of ADP's iHCM and Realtime beneficial Excellent Microsoft skills including spreadsheets and mail merges Able to build reports based on parameters Methodical and happy to work towards a paper free department Occasional travel to Eye in Suffolk so needs to be a car owner Adaptable, resourceful, sees hard work as fun What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
