Housing First Worker / Team Leader Location: Tameside, Oldham and Stockport Salary : Dependent on role. Contract: Various contracts available. Jigsaw Support brings together our support services from across the Jigsaw Group. Our projects and services are as diverse as the needs of the people we support and range from homelessness and housing advice, domestic abuse support, employment services to agency managed properties and much more. The Greater Manchester Combined Authority secured £7.6 million funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to commission a 3 year Housing First pilot to support people across all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester facing multiple needs and exclusion to maintain their housing. The pilot is one of three nationally in the UK and will be robustly evaluated to review if this model of support should be strategically integrated as a response to homelessness. Jigsaw is a partner in the Greater Manchester consortium consisting of registered providers; health and third sector partners working together to deliver a ground -breaking service. We are seeking to recruit to the following roles: Housing First Worker (covering Tameside, Oldham and Stockport but working as part of the GM wide partnership) One Fixed Term Contract From 01/05/2020 until 31/03/2022 One Fixed Term Contract From 01/07/2020 until 31/03/2022 Reporting to the Housing First Team Leader, the Housing First Worker is responsible for coordinating and providing a personalised, trauma informed support service to people with complex needs facing multiple exclusion in line with Housing First Principles. The Housing First Worker will be responsible for coordinating and providing a person centred, strength based support service in line with Housing First principles to create long term sustainable tenancies by increasing independence and maximising connectivity with the local community. GMHF is a partnership with Great Places being lead partner. This is a joint recruitment of new staff for the programme over all 4 delivery zones. The interview process will be in two stages, the first stage will be a joint partnership values based assessment facilitated by Great Places. Candidates who pass this stage of the process will then be interviewed by delivery partners in delivery zones. Housing First Team Leader (covering Tameside, Oldham and Stockport but working as part of the GM wide partnership) The Housing First Team Leader is Responsible for the day to day delivery of the Housing First contract and supervising the delivery of a service with a high level of fidelity to Housing First principles. You will provide leadership and guidance to Housing First Workers promoting a positive culture and partnership working.
