Deputy Manager | Theatres | Edinburgh | Highly Competitive Salary Dependent on Experience | Supportive Team Spire Edinburgh Hospitals have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to take the next step up and join our team as a Deputy Theatre Manager, this position can be based either within Shawfair or Murrayfield. Murrayfield hospital was established as a purpose built hospital in 1984, conveniently located in the west of Edinburgh. In 2015 our consulting rooms had a £1 million refurbishment. In 2010 we opened Shawfair Park Hospital, a day case facility, based in south east Edinburgh. Each of our hospitals practice some of the most advanced treatments supported by the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading edge surgical procedures and cancer care. Caring for our patients is at the heart of what we do. We provide expert medical care in a modern, well-equipped environment for all of our patients Duties and responsibilities The Deputy Theatre Manager will deputise for the Theatre Manager and support in the provision of clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department. Maximising theatre utilisation, Consultant compliance and maintaining clinical standards, the post-holder will provide strong leadership and direction to all staff across the service and act as a point of contact for advice and expertise relating to professional issues.
