Assistance Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for Assistance Coordinators to join our Medical Emergency Teams. You will be organising and delivering assistance services to policy holders including flight bookings, hotel bookings, fitness to fly certificates and other tasks as required for the case. There will be communication with third parties and insured customers via various communication methods including phone and email. This is a 24/7 operation and successful candidates must be able to work on a rotating shift pattern. You will be: Determining and planning logistical tasks that must be completed in line with clinical plans communicated by the medical team Capture all relevant case information and accurately enter details on the in house case management system ensuring cases are managed appropriately and according to MAPFRE processes Arranging medical services where necessary and in line with policy limitations Working with suppliers and agents to ensure that services are provided in a cost effective manner Ensuring guarantees of payment are issued to providers Experience and Technical Knowledge: Previous experience in customer services Previous assistance, claims experience, preferably for an Insurance Company, would be desirable. Friendly and professional telephone manner Working Hours: Working as a part of the Assistance Coordinator team, you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (including weekends and Bank holidays).
