Customs & Freight Manager - The Rewards £30,000 - £40,000 Competitive pension scheme Expanding business Career opportunities Flexible working Customs & Freight Manager - Requirements Extensive knowledge of Export Licensing Regulations Experience in corporate compliance Experience of Global export Understanding of AEO Have a very keen eye for detail Customs & Freight Manager - Responsibilities To provide expert support on operational matters concerning the Customs and Freight services used To audit customs and freight processes and support the completion the annual audit To support the implementation and ongoing support of AEO across all locations To liaise with the customs offices in each applicable country for tax and customs related issues and compliance To review existing contracts and negotiate agreements with new suppliers Investigate opportunities to standardise, collect, analyse and publish detailed supplier performance data and identify areas of improvement opportunity Provide central support for the completion of LCRs and support the investigation of root causes with the providers and summarise a monthly outcome report Develop relationships with senior members of each customs and freight service providers management to ensure an effective escalation process is in About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
