Treasury & Asset Analyst Nottingham £22,178 - £25,171 per annum Full Time (35 hours per week) Founded in 1973, our client is committed to providing and managing housing for people in need, offering vital care and support services. They manage over 9,500 homes, house more than 20,000 people and employ approximately 1,200 colleagues in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. They provide care and support for the most vulnerable people in society, covering mental health, learning disabilities, domestic abuse, vulnerable young people, homelessness and older persons. In partnership with 19 local authorities, they build new affordable homes to meet local needs. This includes homes for sale, rent, shared ownership and 'try before you buy’ schemes. Over the next five years, they are looking to increase the number of homes that they manage to over 10,000 whilst maintaining their care and support business. Keep on reading… Reporting to the Finance Manager - Treasury & Regulation, you will support the finance manager in meeting their Group treasury requirements. This will involve assisting in the administration of the internal and external audit processes and the production of financial regulatory returns. Other duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Extracting and analysing data from the financial system and draft information where required. Assisting in period end and year end close down procedures producing the relevant documentation. Assisting in the administration of lender information requirements and securing and release of properties Administration of appropriate manual and computerised records and reconciliations thereon on a timely manner taking corrective action where required. Providing input to processes for business transformation in the provision of financial management services to the Group To answer generic queries on all aspects of the team’s work within agreed time limits. Are you passionate about numbers and the people? As you can see, the role is varied and requires you to be able to effectively prioritise and work on your own initiative. You will be part qualified CIMA/ACCA and/or degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Law/Business related discipline and have experience of working in a performance-oriented finance or business environment. It is essential that you have a high level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills with demonstrable ability to use high level functionality of MS spreadsheets, databases, computerised accounts packages and other related applications to retrieve and manipulate complex data. As a quick learner you will work logically and accurately to fulfil your role’s requirements.
