Overview
Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Finance Junior based in Ipswich. Our client is a leading Regional firm of Chartered Accountants, who are looking to add into their fast growing corporate tax team. This role presents the opportunity to work within a fast paced environment that can provide a large scope for progression. Addition to this, there will be an opportunity to receive study support within the company in order to obtain qualifications. The key responsibilities of the role are: Ensuring all the deliverables are completed on time and within budget Assist in the preparation of tax returns and computations Able to work to tight deadlines and have a clear understanding of the clients business Preparing client tax return forms for senior review, including tax elections Liaise with HMRC and other professionals regarding client affairs Ensure that professional ethical procedures are adhered to Manage and update the in-house database for client details Provide efficient and pro active services to clients and ensuring that their needs are met Willing and open to take on tasks and challenges by the Tax Teams The ideal candidate will have an educated degree level with no fewer than 280 UCAS points and a 2:1 degree, or a new school leaver with completed A-LEVELS (Minimum Requirement - 3 B's) looking for a new career.
