Electronics Field Systems Engineer Job Title: Electronics Field Systems Engineer Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Salary & Benefits: Up to £38,000 Extensive Benefits Package Location: North London & Travel The Electronics Field Systems Engineer role will be responsible for system based Security Systems. Service interventions, Pre-installation surveys and site surveys. Trials and testing activities, technical liaison with Sales team/customers. Completing Service reports. Electronics Field Systems Engineer Requirements: Recognised formal qualification in an Electronics field Defence background would be an advantage Experience in an Electronics servicing environment Proven track record in demonstrating knowledge of electronics in a hand's-on discipline Excellent technical and general communication skills Ability to interact at all levels within the organisation. Proficient knowledge of computers including hardware and software Experience of software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel Full clean driving license Valid passport Electronics Field Systems Engineer Responsibilities: Carry out service interventions as directed by Support team Carry out pre-installation surveys and site surveys and produce detailed reports. Participate in Trials and Testing activities to characterise and prove system capabilities. When required participate in technical meetings and provide a technical liaison with the Sales team/customers. Communicate effectively with line management any information relating to technical issues. Familiarise and observe all Health and Safety rules and regulations during working hours. Completing Service reports and other documentation to the standard required by Line Management in a timely manner. Carry out any special projects or tasks as agreed with line management. Complete short training courses as required Travel within the UK and overseas is required and is considered a regular feature of this role. Requests could be made at short notice.
