Overview
A fantastic Finance Analyst position has recently arisen at a leading and accredited business based in Manchester City Centre. Working within a dynamic finance team, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, maintaining the core business model, and providing key business partnering to stakeholders across the business. As a Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include: Producing the monthly management accounts, including KPI analysis and commentary Presenting the management accounts at board level Maintaining the core business model in Excel Providing scenario modelling to identify optimum routes to maximise product economics and the early identification of business risk Business partnering throughout the organisation Producing and maintaining complex budgets and forecasts by partnering with key stakeholders across the business Producing business models and management information to support internal commercial decision making Assisting with the annual statutory audit As a Finance Analyst, you will have/be: Advanced MS Excel knowledge - including experience with complex formulae and modelling Previous experience working in a finance-orientated role (ideally with good experience in both management reporting and financial accounting) Experience of SQL of Power BI is advantageous, but not essential Part-qualified/finalist accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) Strong communication - able to interact effectively with people at all levels (both in and out of finance) Able to work under pressure and to deadlines Business minded and commercially aware This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to get great exposure across the breadth of finance, as well as having the chance to develop and evolve the role as you discover what you enjoy/are interested in.
