IT Change & Release Manager Hertfordshire Permanent Excellent remuneration & benefits Our client a leader within the construction industry are seeking an IT Change and Release Manager on a permanent basis within their head office located in Rickmansworth. The primary function of this role is to ensure robust Change and Release management processes are imbedded into the IT organisation, minimising risk and impact to the business. MAIN DUTIES: Own the Change Management process strategy and design Control the lifecycle of all changes, ensuring an efficient flow of changes through the Change Management process Convene and chair CAB and ECAB meetings, Authorize, alone or together with the CAB members, acceptable RFCs and reject unacceptable ones Ensure that appropriate levels of change related communications are sent out to Service Desk and to impacted users. Review all implemented changes to ensure they have met their objectives Track failed and unauthorized changes, escalate to the IT Leadership where necessary Produce regular management reports, ensure KPIs are tracked and met Responsible for implementing and managing release processes through development, test, and production environments Own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. Accountable for maintaining the integrity of all IT system environments by ensuring strict release and change processes are followed by development and support teams throughout the release cycle. Accountable for ensuring that resources are efficiently utilised by integrating and prioritising development and maintenance environments and usage requirements into schedules of change for all shared environments aligned to an agreed release cycle Ensure appropriate testing and regression plans are in place for all RFCs.
