Finance Systems Analyst | Systems Accountant | Finance Analyst Walters People is representing a national leading business with a hugh emphasis on customer experience in their search for a Finance Systems Analyst on a day rate contract to be based in their Salford office. Dynamics AX experience would be a massive advantage in this role. Responsibilities Support the finance systems manager with roll out of regular projects to improve new systems and processes Play an important role in new projects to enhance and improve financial systems Set and control data governance processes Monitor data quality from source systems to the analytics system Provide support to finance users on using central analytics platforms On-going communication with finance users to assess their requirements Maintain and update documentation related to processes and best practice use of the finance systems Maintain and add access and security procedures Prepare reports and dashboards output from finance systems to present to senior management Provide training to users and key users of the finance systems The successful candidate will ideally have: Exposure to both finance and IT departments Previous experience of working with ERP systems (Dynamics AX would be desireable) Good understanding of finance reporting, management reporting and consolidation A strong interest in technology and data and looking to combine your finance skills with technology Project management skills (Lean/SQL or similar) First rate communication and presentation skills In return this role offers the chance to work for a market leading organisation within state of the art offices who promote autonomous working, for example the option to work from home 2 days per week and flexi-time.
