We are currently looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join us in our Specialist Children’s Services based in Telford. You will join us in a full time, permanent role and in return for joining us, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,245 - £63,298 per annum. About the role: As our Service Delivery Manager for Specialist Services, you will undertake the duties expected of a Strategic Social Work Manager. You will lead, motivate and inspire social workers and others across organisations, ensuring the services provided are effective and responsive. You will drive the strategic and operational development of the following services; - Children with Disabilities Service - Children’s Occupational Therapy Team - Parenting & Contact Team within our Child Protection teams & Family Support function The Service Delivery Manager will be required to provide management oversight and direction to these services, as well as being responsible for the quality assurance and performance of this part of the service. Additional duties of the Service Delivery Manager will include: - Develop the assessment process with a sound set of financial criteria - Develop a clear process of agreement, audit and review around any financial decisions that are made within the Children with Disability Team regarding the allocation of personal budgets - Be a pro-active member of the Safeguarding and Early Help Management Team and collaborative member within the wider Children and Families management group, highlighting areas for improvement to the Service Director If you share our passion for making a difference, we would be delighted if you joined us.
